Challenge

CXOs need real-time access to vital signs of their energy-assets and actionable insights to track environment parameters like energy, water, wastage and green cover of their facilities in real-time, to stay compliant and be sustainable. With most companies monitoring their energy assets only for wear and tear, vital metrics which have a significant impact on climate change (and in turn the equipment’s sustainability!) are not actively tracked or analyzed for insights to avoid failures (and decrease cost of maintenance!).

Approach

An Asset Registry establishes all existing assets and captures metrics pertaining to energy consumption, water consumption, waste management and ultimately linking them back to GreenHouse Gas emissions. Data from equipment already in the operating cycle is leveraged to generate energy signatures and GHG emission rates for the assets in the registry. A mobile app provides real-time access to metrics such as total energy consumption and the associated carbon emission, water consumption and waste generation. For the asset to continue to perform efficiently, the mobile app conveys insights deduced by analyzing the data collected from both electrical and mechanical equipment employed in the operations, using AI with recommendations, guidelines and proactive steps to take.
