Improved campaign effectiveness for a Telecom company

Challenge

A major Unified Communications as a Service(UCaaS) provider had limited success in driving adoption of their promotional campaigns. The leadership of the Marketing Promotions team had lower visibility into execution of promotional campaigns among the target customer base. The data related to promotional campaigns of different product lines were in silos. Due to lack of insights on performance of various promotions, the firm was not able to optimize the campaigns resulting in limited success.

Approach

Acies built a solution that integrated all the pertinent data, both historical and real time data, from diverse platforms, Salesforce and SAP, into one place in a data store and built a Tableau based dashboard. The dashboard tracks key metrics to measure the performance of each campaign across product lines, industry verticals and geographies. The entire process of dashboard delivery right from data ingestion was automated and was set up to be published at defined cadence.

Outcome

The Tableau dashboards we built enabled the business users to drill down on campaigns’ performance with respect to product lines, geographies and industry segments when needed apart from measuring actionable KPIs. Client was able to uncover promotional campaigns that give higher profit compared to those that give lower profit. Client was able to identify geographical affinity associated with certain campaigns. The adoption of Promotional campaigns improved by 5% in less than 6 months.
